Arts & Crafts

Ecosystems encourages sustainable job creation by promoting the production of various arts and crafts. This is done through training and awareness programs that highlight the need to protect our natural resources while sustainably using them together with other alien and synthetic resources which are readily available. These resources included driftwood, indigenous grasses, alien weeds and various waste materials.
In all the communities in which we initiate awareness in art and craft production we firstly identify what resources are suitable and available for sustainable use. We then allow individuals within the community to take ownership of projects that they feel positive and enthusiastic about. They will then receive personalized training in crafting as well as basic business skills, presentation and marketing of products, setting up a craft market and harvesting resources sustainably.
